Scholarships & Grants

Scholarships and grants can reduce educational costs without creating a repayment obligation when award conditions are met.

Scholarship opportunities updated for 2026-2027

How Awards Are Used

Institutional awards are applied to eligible tuition, fees, books, supplies, or other approved educational costs. Awards do not replace the need to review the full student balance and any remaining payment responsibility.

Application Periods

The primary Fall 2026 scholarship application period runs February 1-April 15, 2026. A smaller Spring 2027 cycle is planned for September 1-October 31, 2026, depending on available funding.

Application Materials

Most applications require a student information form and a short statement. Some awards request additional evidence.

  • Educational and career goals statement.
  • Unofficial transcript or academic progress record.
  • Description of service, leadership, employment, or family responsibility.
  • Program portfolio or faculty recommendation when specified.
  • Financial information for need-based awards.

Selection and Notification

Scholarship committees review eligibility, completeness, alignment with award purpose, academic preparation, service, persistence, and financial circumstances. Decisions are communicated through college email.

Accepting an Award

Recipients may be asked to confirm enrollment, provide a thank-you statement, attend a recognition event, or complete a progress check. Failure to accept by the stated deadline may result in reassignment.

External Scholarships

Students may also apply for awards offered by employers, community foundations, cultural organizations, professional associations, and transfer institutions. External checks or authorization should be sent with identifying information and award restrictions.
